Originally an 18th century stable square for Novar House, Ardtalla has been beautifully converted into a large house that comfortably sleeps up to eighteen, and offers an exceptionally high standard of accommodation throughout. Standing in the heart of the 20,000 acre estate which guests are free to roam at their leisure the immediate grounds incorporate a five acre walled garden with a tennis court and a well kept croquet lawn. Although peaceful and idyllic the holiday house is conveniently only 40 minutes away from Inverness airport. The estate welcomes dogs providing they are well behaved and kept under control however they are not allowed in the house.

Ardtalla is fully catered unless arrangements are made to the contrary and much of the produce used comes from the estate or is sourced locally making it extra fresh and delicious. Fishing is available on the River Alness; stalking and shooting can also be arranged. For golfers, the championship course at Royal Dornoch is near by and with the coast only minutes away there are wonderful sprawling beaches to be enjoyed and explored. With more than 150 miles of road and track on the estate, it is ideal for walking or mountain biking.

The house has 9 en-suite double/twin rooms fitted to an exceptional standard. There is a beautiful double height galleried hall and seating area complete with open fireplace, along with billiard room, drawing room, dining room, sitting room, kitchen, drying room and secure gun room.
