Ledgowan Estate extends over 12,000 acres, with the lodge just to the west of the village of Achnasheen amidst the spectacular scenery of Wester Ross. The estate offers trout fishing on river and loch, stalking and grouse over pointers.

Accommodation

Under new ownership, Ledgowan Lodge has been completely refurbished to provide very comfortable accommodation in six double/twin bedrooms, all now with en-suite bathrooms, with a mix of underfloor heating, open fires and wood burning stoves. A new kitchen with 4 door Aga, and spacious public rooms, the lodge is ideal for sporting parties. A three bedroom cottage is currently undergoing renovation, which will allow a larger party of 18, once complete.

Stalking

Stalking is available on two separate beats on a mix of rolling hills and steep corries, and is often described as one of the best small forests with stags averaging 15 stone, and a number of mentions in G. Kenneth Whitehead's recent book entitled " Half a Century of Scottish Deer Stalking". Hind stalking is also available

Fishing

Wild Brown Trout fishing is available on the River Bran, as well as a number of lochs including Loch Rosque and Loch Gowan, the latter equipped with a boat. Salmon fishing on the River Blackwater and Upper Conon by arrangement.

Grouse

Grouse stocks have improved with careful management, and the estate can provide days of up to 10 brace over pointers.

There is now 18km of track on the estate, providing excellent access for sporting parties, sightseeing or an estate safari.
